Miga Motor Company is the World leader in Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuator development, and has developed the first commercially available line of modular SMA actuators. Originally designed in the mid 1990's as ultralightweight mechanisms for spacecraft, our products are now available to economically replace motors and solenoids in many applications. 	The MigaOne is our flagship actuator, and is the first high volume-ready actuator we have built. MigaOne provides 2.5 pounds of force with 3/8" stroke. The MigaOne retails for $39.95 and is available direct from the factory or from our online retail partners, SparkFun, RobotShop, or SCM International. Also pictured at left is the new MOBITM actuator, which is currently available only in limited quantities at $89.95 each. The MOBI produces one pound of output force with 0.125" stroke, weighs just 0.09 ounces, and is only 0.5" wide x 1.125" long x 0.080" thick!
	The Miga Analog Driver V5 (MAD-V5) is a MOSFET switch designed to safely power the MigaOne actuator across a wide range of speeds or input voltages. The MAD-V5 allows either push-button control, or external GATE signals (2.5 - 5 V) to actuate the MigaOne until the end-of-travel is reached. The MAD-V5 then cuts power momentarily, preventing overheating of the SMA wires. The MAD-V5 is $13.95.
	The Arduino USB is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. Available here, or from SparkFun, the Arduino makes it easy and fun to control MigaOne actuation in many interesting ways.  See the MigaOne/Arduino Tutorial here. Coming soon...	The M-One Demonstration Kit: a MigaOne on a PCB with built-in linear potentiometer to allow position control. When paired with the Arduino USB, the M-One Demo Kit enables sophisticated control of the MigaOne in just minutes.
	The DM01-Series actuators provide PUSH or PULL motion with up to 4.5 pounds of force in a 0.7 ounce package. The DM01 is available in three force ranges starting at $119. See the DM01 Application Notes for additional details here.
	The DM01 DorsalTM is a DM01-Series PULL actuator that allows for side attachment instead of the original output shaft. The DorsalTM can be used in both PUSH and PULL modes. The DorsalTM is available in two force ranges starting at $119.
	The UHT-Blue is DM01-style actuator with an all aluminum body and Ultra-High-Temperature (UHT) NiTiPd30 Shape Memory Alloy Wire currently under development. The UHT-Blue can operate safely in enviromnents over 200˚C!  Available in very limited supply, the UHT-Blue is $599.
	The NForceTM is a high force (up to 16 lbf) Dorsal-style actuator. Weighing just over an ounce, the NForceTM provides either PUSH or PULL stroke (depending on the Dorsal Fin mounting orientation ) of 0.45" using a Lost Motion Output. Available only in the Gold Aluminum body at $399.
	The surplus NanoMuscle NM70-Super is still available in large quantities. The NM70-Super provides 0.16" of stroke with 2 oz. output force. Prices start at $9.95 each in QTY 10.
	Weighing in at 4.2 grams, surplus NanoMuscle Rotary actuators are now available directly from Miga Motor Company. These spring-loaded rotary actuators provide 60˚ of rotation using the linear NM70-Super above, encapsulated in a body with a cam-action rotary output shaft. Operating voltage ~3-6V. 	In cooperation with Parallax, Inc. Miga Motor Company is offering the Board of Education Kit: a powerful microcontroller starter kit. Along with Miga's custom software and hardware attachment kits, the BOE-Kit makes it safe and easy to get started operating Miga Motor Company products in any of 5 different operating modes. The BOE-Kit is compatible with most Miga actuators, but designed for the DM01-PL. It sells for $199.
	Miga Motor Company has focused tremendous effort on micro-controller development over the past year. Once provided only to customers involved in custom development efforts, these powerful PIC-based processors are available pre-programmed for safe operation in several modes, with numerous I/O options.
