The MigaOne™ is
the first of our actuators to be built upon a PCB substrate, and the
first
volume-ready actuator from Miga. MigaOne™ provides 2.5 pounds of
force with 3/8" of stroke. The MigaOne™ retails for $39.95 and is
available directly from the factory or from our online retailers:
SparkFun, GoTronic, RobotShop, and SCM International. Now available online at the Miga
Store.

The newest actuator to join the Miga lineup is the Dash4™,
providing over 1.75 pounds of actuation force and a stroke of 0.23".
The built-in limit switch allows for safe operation over a wide range
of voltage (and speed) when used along with the MAD-v5. The Dash4™ is
just under an inch wide, and less than 0.1" thick! The Dash4™ retails
for $29.95 and is available now. Available online at the Miga
Store. |
 |
The new MOBI™ actuator is
currently available only in limited quantity by special order at $99.95
each. The
MOBI™
produces one pound of output force with 0.15" stroke, weighs just 0.09
ounces, and is only 0.5"
wide x 1.125" long x 0.080" thick! |

The Miga Analog Driver v5 (MAD-v5) is a MOSFET switch
designed to safely power Miga actuators across a
wide range of speeds or input voltages. The MAD-v5 allows push-button
operation, or an external logic GATE signal to
actuate
the
MigaOne™, Dash4™, MOBI™, or NM70R-6P until the end-of-travel is
reached. The MAD-v5 then cuts power
momentarily, preventing overheating of the SMA wires. The MAD-v5
retails for $13.95. Available online at the Miga
Store. |

Weighing just over one gram, the NM70-Super provides
4mm (0.16") of stroke with 70 grams (~2.5 oz.) output force. The surplus NanoMuscle NM70-Super is available in
large quantities. Prices start at $9.95 each. The NM70-Supers are available at the
online Miga
Store. |
 |
Weighing in at 4.2 grams, surplus NanoMuscle Rotary
actuators are now available
directly from Miga Motor Company. These spring-loaded rotary
actuators provide 60˚ of rotation by
encapsulating the linear NM70-Super above in a plastic body with a
cam-action rotary output. The NM70R comes in 2-
and 6-pin versions, the 6-pin
providing greater control authority. Operating
voltage is ~3-6V. Prices
start at $9.95 each. See a demo movie here. Available online at the Miga
Store. |

The Arduino USB is an open-source electronics prototyping
platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It's
intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in
creating interactive objects or environments. Available here or from
SparkFun, the Arduino makes it easy and fun to control Miga Motion in
many interesting ways. See the MigaOne/Arduino
Tutorial here. The
Arduino is available
from Miga at $39.95. Available online at the Miga
Store. |

The
DM01-Series actuators provide PUSH or PULL motion with
up to 4.5 pounds of force in a 0.7 ounce package. The DM01 is available
in three force ranges starting at $119. See the DM01 Application Notes
for additional details here.

The UHT-Blue is DM01-style actuator with an all aluminum
body and Ultra-High-Temperature (UHT) NiTiPd30 Shape Memory Alloy Wire
currently under development. The UHT-Blue can operate safely in
enviromnents over 200˚C! Available in very limited supply, the
UHT-Blue is $599. Call the factory to order. |
 |
The NForceTM is a high force (up to 16 lbf) Dorsal-style
actuator. Weighing just over an ounce, the NForceTM provides either
PUSH or PULL stroke (depending on the Dorsal Fin mounting orientation )
of 0.45" using a Lost Motion Output. Available only in the Gold
Aluminum body at $429. Call the factory to order. |
 |
The DM01
DorsalTM is a
DM01-Series PULL actuator that allows
for side attachment instead of the original output shaft. The DorsalTM
can be used in both PUSH and PULL modes. The DorsalTM is available in
two force ranges starting at $119. Call the factory to order. |

Miga Motor Company has focused tremendous effort on
micro-controller development over the past several years. Once provided
only to
customers involved in custom development efforts, these powerful
PIC-based processors are available pre-programmed for safe operation in
several modes, with numerous I/O options. The patent pending
micro-controller solutions start at $289. |
